HOW I WORK

Coaching Approach

Coaching is a way to explore the things that matter to you. It’s a process of partnering to determine what is important to you and to move closer to doing those things and doing them with skill and ease.  It is about building the professional life that sustains you by honoring your history, your circumstances, your values and your energy. I typically work with faculty and administrators in academic healthcare, with a special focus on leadership (at all levels).

Coaching Process and Logistics

We start by working together to develop the engagement that fits your needs. We’ll explore what brings you to coaching and what you want to get out of the engagement. We will meet in 1:1 sessions, typically over Zoom or on the phone. Most of my clients start with a package of 6-12 sessions over 6-12 months, but this can be tailored to you. In those sessions, we’ll develop a picture of what you most want to get out of our work together, and I’ll partner with you to explore ways to move toward that goal.
